COVID-19 Updates

The West Virginia and East Tennessee Council (District 23) is still “Pursuing a Victorious Lifestyle!” amid the outbreak of COVID-19.  God has been faithful to us and has afforded us with churches, pastors and leaders who are dedicated and committed to the work of the ministry.  Although, many of our regions have seen spikes in the number of cases and experienced some devastating effects, many of our local governments are beginning to ease restrictions and move to reopen.

On May 22, 2020, the federal government issued its statement regarding religious gatherings as an essential service and released its guidelines for moving forward. The leadership of our council wants us to be mindful of the CDC guidelines and execute safe practices as we move forward.  Our Diocesan and the Bishop’s Cabinet will issue announcements regarding any upcoming council meetings in the future.  Please visit the council web page for updates and watch for announcements on Facebook and via e-mail.  Please see the links below for additional information.
